The Afghanistan Development and Investment Summit

The First Afghanistan Development and Investment Summit was held at Hayat Regency Dubai from 16^th to 18^th January 2012. The summit was widely attended by the National and International Trade Representatives, Government officials and Donors.

The Deputy Chair of the Independent Board and CEO DCDA, Eng. Gholam Sachi Hassanzadah explained the motives behind the New City project and outlined its economic dimensions. He also highlighted the regional importance, the vision, the site, the master plan, the development process and various business opportunities of the project.

The summit was followed with interactive round table meetings which provided a chance to interested developers, investors and government officials to have face to face interactions with the DCDA officials.
